  Hello !

I can't quite understand what happened, but not so long ago, my uxterm stopped to work
properly for, say, half of the unicode characters, like for instance the cyrillic
Cyrillic_SHORTI and most of the other half. I don't quite know if it's linked to a ncurses
bug (because the programs which I was using and/or developping were using curses). Instead
of showing the proper character, it was showing only a blank followed by ^.

As a indication, the problem doesn't show up if I use a non curses way to display - that
is, if I do cat File, where File contains some characters which I can't use in the shell for
instance, I still can see them. It seems linked to the fact that the first of the 2 bytes of
the char is 0320 (octal).

I will file immediately a bugreport to ncurses as well. If you have any idea of what is
happening, please let me know !!

  Thanks

	Vincent Fourmond
