Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables MAPS_CFLAGS
and MAPS_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

This bug was fixed in xfonts-100dpi (1:1.0.0-2) with Build-Depends:
xfonts-utils.
