Hello,
Just to clarify: Can you see unresolved references in libxcursor1 with
*current* debian unstable? Do you have problems with gaphor on Debian
unstable?

Because I cannot see either the unresolved symbols in libxcursor1 or
the startup problem in gaphor (with /etc/ld.so.conf only containing
/usr/X11R6/lib).
