Bug#402755: *sampleTextUCS: is not valid UCS2 or better UTF-8

Error description:

at the end of the file:

is NOT valid UCS2 or UTF-8.  I have tried to convert it using "iconv"
but I get only Errors.

michelle.konzack:~ > file ucs.orig
ucs2.orig: UTF-8 Unicode text

I have found this Error since "xfontsel" has never (since at least Woody)
shown the sample text right if I use an encoding like iso10646-1.

The two qttached files are suitable for the app-defaults of XFontSel
