I'd like to report also that the error occurs on my Think pad (same model and spec as Marc GASNOT). I tested this both on a 1 year old testing install and a clean etch install. I also tested the new Ubuntu Linux (6.10) just to see if it is also effected. The bug doesn't appear to happen. I don't know if this is something to do with the mesa lib packages.
