Package: xserver-xorg-video-i810
Version: 1:1.5.1.0-2
Severity: normal

Sometimes (though not every time), when I start playing movies using
xine or mythtv, X will hang at a blank screen. The log (below)
indicates that this is because of an error in I830WaitLpRing(). This
bug is discussed in #4353 in the upstream BTS, available at
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4353 . It's also
mentioned in the discussion of an (apparently) unrelated bug,
#272060, in Debian's BTS.
I've upgraded to the last version available from xorg CVS (1.6.0) to
see if that helps.

Fantastic. We've uploaded new versions incorporating fixes from this time
in the meantime. I'm going to close this bug, but the new driver in
unstable should work for you. If it doesn't, please re-open this bug so we
can track down the appropriate fix. Thanks for following up.
