Bug#391389: xkb-data: With uk keyboard, Shift-3 gives 3 instead of the sterling character

OK, this says:

The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Error:            Can't find file "uk" for symbols include

Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server

Is there any reason why this isn't written to /var/log/Xorg.0.log?
