Hello Debian X Strike Force,

There is an error when upgrading from sarge to etch.

  Selecting previously deselected package x11-common.
  (Reading database ... 46949 files and directories currently installed.)
  Unpacking x11-common (from .../x11-common_1%3a7.0.22_i386.deb) ...
  rmdir: `/usr/X11R6/bin': Directory not empty
  dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/x11-common_1%3a7.0.22_i386.deb
(--unpack):
   subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/x11-common_1%3a7.0.22_i386.deb
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

You should probably add a conflict with xserver-xfree86-dbg
