I can't find my own work doing this either in the Debian changelog or the
svn logs. I didn't do any work on mesa that didn't hit svn. Pulling the
initial import from the ubuntu package shows that the change was already in
there.

Not that I can see. Go for it.

Also, would it be possible for us to open up the mesa repo a little bit? I
don't want to maintain mesa, but I'd be happy to do small fixes like this
while Marcelo is busy.
