Bug#374775: kdeinit symbol lookup error for libSM6

Package:libsm6
Version:1:1.0.0-4

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1, kernel 2.6.15, libc6 2.3.6-13.

After an update yesterday, Kde does not start up anymore, this is the content of /home/user/.xsession-errors:

Xsession: X session started for dirk at Mi Jun 21 09:41:33 CEST 2006
startkde: Starting up...
kdeinit: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libSM.so.6: undefined symbol: IceGetPeerName
startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.

cut: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
sed: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried to downgrade libxft2 from 2.1.8.2-8 to 2.1.7 cause someone obviously had
success doing this but that caused no change for my system.
