Actually, I do not have the possibility to judge if that fix is correct or not, with regards to the given information, as I'm not enough involved in the package internals. So, we'd need one of the main developers to ACK that this change is correct before commiting. In that case, I'll be hyappy to commit and check that everythign is OK...
