Package: xdm
Version: 3.3.6-10

This might be an issue for package xserver-xsun version 3.3.2.3a-11, too.

With the following kombination

||/ Name           Version        Description
+++-==============-==============-============================================
ii xdm 3.3.6-10 X display manager
ii  xserver-xsun   3.3.2.3a-11    X server for 8-bit Sun framebuffers

xdm sessions can not start because the authentication to the server does
not work. Output from xdm -debug:

AUDIT: Sat Oct 21 02:55:18 2000: 1273 X: client 2 rejected from local host
  Auth name: XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 ID: -1
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
/usr/X11R6/bin/xrdb: Can't open display ':0'

When the DisplayManager*AuthName reource in xdm-config is changed
to only include MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 (instead of both), it works.
Add the following line to xdm-config:

DisplayManager*AuthName: MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1

Release is potato upgraded with apt-get from slink running on a SPARC SS10.

(If the bug is reproducible with a current server, please file a new bug.)
