Bug#364530: is the fonts odyssee coming to an end?
Hi maintainers of debhelper and xfont-utils!
I would like to ask the responsible persons to confirm that the funny
odyssee of moving .scale etc files around in /etc/ is soon coming to an
end, or is already ended?
After I was bugged to upgrade cm-super-x11 according to the new X11R7
fonts layout I also moved everything to /e/X/fonts/X11R7/Type1. Now, I
guess I should move it back to where it was and depend on debhelper >=
5.0.35??
Or will next week bring another location like /etc/X11/fonts/X-me-up-scotty?
PS: If we are finished with this odysse, it would have been nice to send
those maintainers an message telling them that the new location is again
deprecated. Putting it into debhelper changelog and not doing anything
while the first move was initiated with emails and bugs.
