I got this working by changing: in /etc/init.d/xdm: /usr/bin/X11/xdm to /usr/bin/xdm in /etc/X11/default-display-manager: /usr/bin/X11/xdm to /usr/bin/xdm in /etc/X11/xdm/Xservers: /usr/bin/X to /usr/X11R6/bin/Xorg I am hoping that there will soon be an upgrade that will set the config files to something better. But, it works for now. -Matt
