Yes, the X i810 driver returns a BadAlloc error, which means that it
can't allocate the memory for storing the video data for display.
Unfortunately, I can't tell from the information you provided why that
is. May I suggest you submit this upstream at
http://bugs.freedesktop.org [5], product xorg, component Driver/i810.
