hi,

xfree86-common.postinst removes /etc/X11/Xsession. You aren't able to start X at all.

Move /etc/X11/Xsession.xfree86 back to /etc/X11/Xsession and all should be
well again.

This is fixed in 1:7.0.17, which was uploaded earlier today (by the removal
of the xfree86-common package).

Adam
