Bug#365888: libxvmc1: Looks for config file in wrong place and doesn't document it AT ALL
Package: libxvmc1
Version: 1:1.0.1-4
Severity: serious
Upon trying to use an XVMC-using app, I see:
XvMCWrapper: Could not open config file "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XvMCConfig".
XvMCWrapper: No such file or directory
Several problems with this:
1) That file does not exist
2) That location for config files violates Debian policy
3) The fact that this config file exists, and what should be in it,
are both completely undocumented. This is not helpful to anyone.
libxvnc1 contains no documentation whatsoever.
