Ooops. I spoke too soon - it's not running /etc/X11/Xsession at all. /usr/bin/startx doesn't mention Xsession, and neither does /usr/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc. I don't remember where the Xsession was started with the older version.... -- Jon-o Addleman - http://redowl.dyndns.org
