Bug#362494: libxv1: Bad video display with X.org modular libraries
Package: libxv1
Version: 1:1.0.1-2
Severity: important
When playing a movie, the picture stutters a lot, as if the video frames
were not displayed in the correct order (1,0,3,2,4,etc). Reverting the
libxv1 package to version 6.9.0.dfsg.1-6 fixed the issue.
This is not the only package I had to revert to pre-modular version. I
also reverted libxfixes3 because Gnome applications were not starting
anymore. So maybe the video problem is a consequence of a more general
issue in the modular X libraries.
The video card is a Trident CyberBlade XPAi1.
