Package: xterm
Version: 210-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I tried this on two boxes with Xorg 7.0: both expose the same behaviour:
hildeb@knarzkiste:~$ xterm
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 152 (XFIXES)
Minor opcode of failed request: 23 (XFixesSetCursorName)
Serial number of failed request: 30
Current serial number in output stream: 31

Same for rxvt:
hildeb@knarzkiste:~$ rxvt
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 152 (XFIXES)
Minor opcode of failed request: 23 (XFixesSetCursorName)
Serial number of failed request: 86
Current serial number in output stream: 87

hildeb@knarzkiste:~$ amule
The program 'amule' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 85 error_code 1 request_code 152 minor_code 23)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

So, this rather seems to be an error in the Xserver. This did NOT happen
with an older Xorg 7.0 package I recently installed from
experimental
