Bug#359687: xterm: fails to start new line when typing long commands
Package: xterm
Version: 210-2
Severity: normal
When typing a long command, xterm fails to jump to a
new line. Instead it starts "overwriting" the beginning of the
command, though this is only on the screen: the command works
nevertheless. Also this only happens right after opening a new xterm-window:
When typing another (long) command, the line breaking works fine.
I had the same problem in versions 208-3.1 and 210-2 but not in the old
version 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14 (sarge).
