Bug#355125: i810 X server dies with "Active ring not flushed" error

Package: xserver-xorg
Version: 6.9.0.dfsg.1-4

While working in KWrite, X died unexpectedly. It stopped responding;
then a few seconds later, the screen blanked out, and it would no
longer respond to keystrokes (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F1).

I was able to ssh in and grab the Xorg.0.log file, which is attached here.

Attempts to restart X are not working. The server is dying with a
similar error, with a few numbers changed.

It looks like I'll have to reboot the machine.
