Bug#326956: xserver-xorg: Can reproduce memory leak with ROX-Filer Wallpaper + Esetroot

I use the Wallpaper applet for ROX-Filer (available from
http://rox.sourceforge.net/phpwiki/index.php/Wallpaper) for choosing a
new desktop background every 60 minutes, but because there is a
problem with transparent FvwmButtons not being updated correctly, I
modified actions.py in the Wallpaper applet to additionally call
Esetroot.

In the course of 24 hours memory consumption of the Xorg process grows
from 103 megabytes (directly after startup) to 300 MB and more,
eventually consuming all available memory.

If I use only Esetroot or only the Wallpaper applet memory consumption
of the Xorg process doesn't grow over a certain limit.

The Wallpaper applet alone doesn't cause this and using Esetroot alone
seems to cause some memory to be lost, but only a few megabytes at a
time.

I've managed to reproduce this effect with the following shell-loop in
a directory with a lot of large pictures.

for i in *; do wmsetbg --maxscale $i; Esetroot -fit $i; sleep 5; done

With every iteration of the loop, the size of the Xorg process will
grow by around 5 megabytes (sometimes a little memory is freed, but
in effect, the process will grow out of bounds).
