Bug#327744: libxrender: fails to build due to no X :)
Package: libxrender
Version: 0.9.0+CVS20050905
Severity: normal
Hi David, i tried to build libxrender from experimental, to give the
experimental Xorg 6.9 build another try, but it failed to build inside a sid
chroot, even though all the build-dependencies and build-essential where
installed :
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for X... checking for X... no
configure: error: X is required, but it was either disabled or not found.
make: *** [config.status] Error 1
I guess this is either a bogus test, or there are some missing build
dependencies :)
Friendly,
Sven Luther
