Package: xresprobe
Version: 0.4.16-1
Severity: important
File: /usr/sbin/ddcprobe

When I run ddcprobe on one of my machines, I do not get the result I
expect. xdebconfigurator used to work with the ddcprobe in woody, and
it is looking for lines like this:

   ID: 4538
   EISA ID: API4538
Screen size max 27 cm horizontal, 20 cm vertical.
    640x480 @ 75 Hz (VESA)

But I only get this output. Notice the 'edidfail' at the end, which I
suspect indicate a problem.

The woody version seem to fail on my laptop. I guess I just
remembered incorrectly when I believed this used to work. I'm closing
the bug, as it probably have never wroked on this laptop.
