Two things of note: 1) Arches that ubuntu did not ship do not have all the changes made to the arches they are shipping or planning to ship, so these need to be brought up to date so all arches are in sync. 2) I don't understand a number of the changes made. I need to do a careful survey of the fully built source tree in order to examine each change. Help in this would be appreciated. Let me know if there's anything specific I can help with and I'll do my best to sort it out.
