i didnt get this error before and i didnt modify the X
configuration...

SO when i left the computer idle for some time screen
went blank and after a while suspended as normally.
when i moved the mouse later to unsuspend it the
screen messed up*.

it was fixed when i [closed all apps etc... and]
logged out, xdm appeared correctly...

*messed up=like every 10pix horiz bar duplicated, and
the whole screen shifted to left by ~20pix (software
not hardware issue) so that part of it came back on
right :-)

i suspect some relation to efont because even tho it's
installed without errors i still dont get unicode
fonts, but i am not sure...

dpkg -C shows no errors
apt-get install shows everything is up-to-date & no
unsatisfied dependencies

thanks!
