Bug#275117: bug #275117



I also have this problem. X (both xfree 4.3.0dfsg.1-10 and Xorgs version) seem to freeze. Logging in from another system and stracing it I find it either repeats the gettimeofday call or repeats something like SIGALRM alarm (0) @ 0, sorry I don't have the message in front of me. It seems to only happen when using nvidia's drivers (6111,6629,etc), not the Xfree/xorg nv driver. It seemed like it would happen randomly, but at least today I have been able to get it consistantly occure with mplayer.
