Bug#324777: shift, ctrl, etc not working - try driver "kbd"

Package: xserver-common
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-6
Followup-For: Bug #324777

I have the same problem. After installing X.org on my testing box
(using dist-upgrade), I had 2 keyboard problems:

1) Typing in virtual consoles 2-6 doesn't do anything (all keypresses
seem to be ignored except ctrl+alt+f1 etc)
2) in X, the capslock, numlock, shift and ctrl keys didn't work

Changing the keyboard driver in /etc/X11/xorg.conf from "keyboard" to
"kbd" fixed (2) but not (1).

I have a 104-key PS2 Logitech internet keyboard

Here is my xorg.conf:
