I don't understand. I just upgraded my testing distro from
xserver-xfree86, which allowed me to switch to the virtual consoles,
to xserver-xorg, which doesn't appear to do so. If there are XKB
problems, how can I go about diagnosing what might have changed
between these two servers? I haven't touched my XKB configuration in
the interim.
Thanks,
Julian
