Bug#319689: xserver-xorg: locks up system using ATI 9200c

Note that this could in theory also be caused by a keyboard
configuration problem. Does neither running chvt nor pressing
ctrl-alt-backspace work either?

Does the X server process hog the CPU?

Does disabling the DRI work around the problem?
