Changes: libxrender (1:0.9.0-1) unstable; urgency=low
  * Merge upstream 0.9.0 release (0.8.4 was skipped and saw no Debian package
  * Rename source package to libxrender to track upstream change.
  * Forward-port Debian-specific patches:
    + Define (in acinclude.m4) and use (in configure.ac)
    + Define AM_MAINTAINER_MODE in configure.ac.
  * Regenerate Makefile.in, aclocal.m4, and configure.
  * Account for new shared library version (1.2.2 -> 1.3.0):
    + Update names of installed files in libxrender1{,-dbg}.install.
    + Define DEB_DH_MAKESHLIBS_ARGS_libxrender1 CDBS variable in debian/rules;
      dependent packages will now depend on "libxrender1 (>> 1.3.0)".
  * Update copyright notices in files that claimed their copyright was held by
    Software in the Public Interest, Inc. (SPI) to assert copyright ownership by
    Branden Robinson. Branden never signed a written instrument transferring
    ownership of any copyrights to SPI; therefore, under U.S. law as Branden
    understands it at least, no such transfer ever took place.
  * Change license terms on Debian packaging to use original MIT/X11 license
    wording (without the anti-publicity clause later added by X.Org), instead
    of the different language used by Keith Packard upstream.
Announcing to debian-devel-changes@lists.debian.org

Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of
the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the override file about once a week.

You may have gotten the distribution wrong. You'll get warnings above
if files already exist in other distributions.
