That wasn't in the mail to which I replied.  You filed the above report
after changing your submitter address on the others.

I do not share your shrill assessment, but I'm not opposed to changing the
stock font paths in xfs (and written by dexconf) per se.  I have stated[1]
my contingency, which is simply that someone needs to explain how defoma
works in language I can understand, and be willing to listen to whatever
suggestions I may have.

To date, that appears to be an excessive burden on defoma advocates.  Why,
I'm not sure.  For my part, I question the prudence of advocating something
no one is willing to coherently justify.  Consequently, I don't find your
tone persuasive.

What I won't do is ship a kludge in sarge that I don't fully understand to
rectify a wishlist item, which this is.  Lots of people, including me, have
desktop environments that work perfectly fine without these odd paths
grafted into their XF86Config-4 files.
