Thanks for the quick reply.
I am actually trying to use the nVidia card instead because it has more
memory than the S3, which only has 2MB.
I am starting to think, based on what I see on various forums, that the
nVidia chip is to blame. How could I have XF86 use a generic SVGA
setting? Would that work?
