I'm willing to try this once the X.org packaging gets in better shape, if
nothing else as a proof of concept. I agree that switching away without any
compelling reason to quilt doesn't make sense. Hacking quilt support in to the
Ubuntu packaging system might be very difficult though, so I'll probably have
to do this with the new packaging effort.
