Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8
Severity: normal

Hi,

I think xlibs should have versioned dependancy to individual library
packages, because in current situation command "apt-get install xlibs"
doesn't upgrade real x libraries - it only upgrades an xlibs metapackage
and leaves outdated real x libraries (for example libx11-6, libxext6 and
libxft1), so this misleads lots of users.

With no explanation[1]?

I think not.

Pull this shit again and I will ask the BTS admins to suspend your ability
to make changes to Debian bug reports (yes, there is a mechanism for this).

Re-closing bug report due to submitter's failure to even bother rebutting
the original rationale for closure.

If you want to try making a case for reopening the bug, do so in discussion
to the debian-x mailing list FIRST.

DO NOT REOPEN THIS BUG. If you make a convincing argument in the eyes of
the people on the mailing list, *I* will reopen it.
