Could someone with sufficient knowledge about copy-paste under X
could post a comment then, to reopen the bug on bugzilla?

Note: contrary to Xterm, it is possible to paste an old Emacs
selection to Mozilla, but this no longer works if Emacs is closed.

There's information here: http://www.jwz.org/doc/x-cut-and-paste.html
and here: http://freedesktop.org/Standards/ClipboardsWiki but I don't
know what xterm uses exactly.
