Package: xlibs
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-8 0
Severity: important

After updating the xlibs package from 4.3.0.dfsg.1-7 to -8, the keyboard=20
configuration is broken without any notification. I am using a german layou=
t,=20
and the AltGr key has become unavailable. It's still working on the console=
=20
and a machine running xlibs version ...-4, so its not a hardware problem.

XF86Config-4 section:
 Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
        Driver "keyboard"
        Option "CoreKeyboard"
        Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
        Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
        Option "XkbLayout" "de"
        Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
EndSection

Also tried:
$ setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout "en_US+de" -option=20
"lv3:ralt_switch_multikey" -variant "nodeadkeys"

xmodmap output:

shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e)
lock Caps_Lock (0x42)
control Control_L (0x25), Control_R (0x6d)
mod1 Alt_L (0x40)
mod2 Num_Lock (0x4d)
mod3
mod4
mod5 ISO_Level3_Shift (0x71)

Thanks for the info. Don't worry about the bug. Better one more than one
less. I am closing it for you.

for reference you can mail <bugnumber>-done@bugs.debian.org to close a bug.
