Are you using dual head?
No I have a rather old (3 years) nividia GeForce2 GTS card without dual
head capability. The only warning I have in XFree86.0.log are below :
(WW) warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown.
(WW) Open APM failed (/dev/apm_bios) (No such file or directory)
(WW) (1600x1200,MyMonitor) mode clock 162MHz exceeds DDC maximum 140MHz
(WW) (1600x1200,MyMonitor) mode clock 175.5MHz exceeds DDC maximum 140MHz
(WW) (1400x1050,MyMonitor) mode clock 155.8MHz exceeds DDC maximum 140MHz
Mplayer displays no warning at all and works with vo x11 or with the old
nv driver???
