yes, it works as expected.
the compilation errors i got on the way and their fixes i mailed
to debian-x@l.d.o.

yes, this seems to reflect what it is doing.

it was written by Aivils Stoss <Aivils.Stoss@unibanka.lv>, and it
is under the GPL.

the compilation errors come to mind and that i spend the day
recompiling X because of them. (c: Now get this patch in testing!
