Bug#234556: xlibs: many clients get BadLength error from X_ChangeProperty request

I would vote for this one. I added a "printf" before entering the
function and inside the function and the variable "todo" (outside) and
"size" (inside) seems to be the same.

It seems that I was chasing ghosts... :-/

But I need to do the test once again (I do not trust totally the
modification that I did).

I'm still on the track. :-)
