Subject: xfree86-common: swiss german keyboard gone
Package: xfree86-common
Version: 4.3.0-2
Severity: important
Tags: experimental
a few months ago an upgrade does not allow to enter e.g. "@", which is normally alt_gr 2 (is alt_r
2).
the key itself seems to work, as in gnome, alt_r - esc switches between windows, like alt_l - esc.
$ xmodmap
xmodmap: up to 2 keys per modifier, (keycodes in parentheses):
shift Shift_L (0x32), Shift_R (0x3e)
lock Caps_Lock (0x42)
control Control_L (0x25), Control_R (0x6d)
mod1 Alt_L (0x40), Alt_R (0x71)
mod2 Num_Lock (0x4d)
mod3
mod4
mod5 Scroll_Lock (0x4e)
