Bug#234877: xserver-common: Failure in configuration for i830

Package: xserver-common
Version: 4.3.0-2
Severity: normal

When upgrading the X-related packages on my testing system to the
new 4.3.0-2 series I observed the following line "at postinst time":

parse error reading X server string `intelfb'

I did not really found out to which package this might be related.
This line was followed immediately by

start_configlet: configlet in path /usr/share/configlets/xserver-common is bad

I can reproduce the last line whenever I try to

  dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86

I get this error message. After this no /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
is created at all which renders the package unusable (at least for
those people who have no idea how to build it by hand).

If I use an older /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file I created with the
last packages from experimental I just get a black screen. This
might or might not be related to #226430. Because there is no
comment on this bug I guess it is not yet solved and I think the
severity of this bug has to be increased because I'm not able to
use X on that box in question at all (while there might be good
chances that it would work with some former experimental packages).

Kind regards and thanks for caring for the X packages

            Andreas.
