Bug#233691: new xterm (4.3.0-2) fails to show bold fonts
Package: xterm
Version: 4.3.0-2
Severity: normal
I updated today to the latest xterm, and I was quite suprised to discover that my xterm
was lacking bold fonts ! Well, to be more precise, only the shell prompt (zsh bold) did
change in black color, nothing else... And a return to the stable version 4.1.0-16woody1
does show up the previous behavior. Is that a bug or simply a change in the configuration ?
The man pages show also no bold anymore. I give you a sample of my .Xresource file, just
to make sure I didn't do anything stupid in the configuration:
XTerm*color0 : black
XTerm*color1 : red3
XTerm*color2 : rgb:0/60/0
XTerm*color3 : yellow4
XTerm*color4 : blue4
XTerm*color5 : magenta3
XTerm*color6 : DeepSkyBlue4
XTerm*color7 : LemonChiffon2
XTerm*color8 : gray30
XTerm*color9 : red
XTerm*color10 : rgb:10/70/10
XTerm*color11 : yellow2
XTerm*color12 : blue3
XTerm*color13 : magenta
XTerm*color14 : DeepSkyblue3
XTerm*color15 : gray90
XTerm*colorUL : Firebrick
XTerm*colorULMode: on
XTerm*colorBDMode: on
XTerm*colorBD: Black
Thans for considering this !!
