As there are no other similar reports, I believe that there is
something wrong on your side, and downgrade the severity of this
bugreport.

Can you please run
 setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout us -print | xkbcomp -w0 -I/etc/X11/xkb - :0
and send its output?
What does the keyboard section of your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 look like?
Does setxkbmap really segfault?
