Bug#270701: xfree86-common: trying to replace « /usr/lib/X11 », which also belongs to package t1-teams
Package: xfree86-common
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-6
Severity: important
Hi !
I cannot install package xfree86-common, this is the error message I get
Unpacking xfree86-common update ...
dpkg : error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/xfree86-common_4.3.0.dfsg.1-7_all.deb (--unpack) :
ttrying to replace « /usr/lib/X11 », which also belongs to
package t1-teams
System startup links for /etc/init.d/xfree86-common already exist.
Setting up X server socket directory /tmp/.X11-unix...done.
Setting up ICE socket directory /tmp/.ICE-unix...done.
Errors encountered while running :
/var/cache/apt/archives/xfree86-common_4.3.0.dfsg.1-7_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
(Note that I actually get error messages in french so this is just a
approximative translation of the original message)
Before that message I had a simillar message, referring to t1-cyrillic. I
uninstalled t1-cyrillic and the problems still occurs with another package
of t1 fonts.
Thanks for any help,
