The default setting is inconvenient and serves no purpose, so it
should be changed.  `You don't see a need to change it' ?!  But I've
just explained why it's wrong and that I have a program which only
works if SendEvents are allowed.

I could play Core Wars by having my program edit the default on
installation, or use the mad hairy Xt resource setting protocol to
turn it on on the target xterm, or some such - but that would be daft
when the default is simply wrong and could be easily changed.

What reason is there for not changing it ?

This was a manipulation of the wrong bug report.  I'll fix it up.
