There is no such file as "XFree".  I assume you mean "XFree86".

That's pretty misleading.  It's far more like an XKB configuration problem,
or a bug in the XKB data.  I am reassigning this bug accordingly.

The above two things are separate reports; please file them separately
against the "mozilla" package.  If the problem is really with X, they'll be
reassigned to it.

Okay, so you're trying to switch between 3 different layouts.

Do the following commands work?:

$ setxkbmap us
$ setxkbmap ca_enhanced
$ setxkbmap jp

They should do the equivalent of whatever keyboard switching app you are
using.
