Bug#258396: debug information from dpkg

Ok dpkg debug output gives the following additional informations:
dpkg --debug=100 --unpack xlibmesa-gl-dev_4.3.0.dfsg.1-6_i386.deb

D000100: setupvnamevbs main=`/usr/share/nvidia-glx/diversions-X11R6/libGL.a' tmp=`/usr/share/nvidia-glx/diversions-X11R6/libGL.a.dpkg-tmp' new=`/usr/share/nvidia-glx/diversions-X11R6/libGL.a.dpkg-new'
D000100: tarobject nonexistent
dpkg: error processing xlibmesa-gl-dev_4.3.0.dfsg.1-6_i386.deb (--unpack):
unable to create `./usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.a': No such file or directory

/usr/share/nvidia-glx is not existing so it's clear that this fails.
I don't know what the diversions stuff is about (I'm actualy searching docs
to find out)

I'm lately using the nvidia driver from the nvidia .bin file. I used the
nvidia .deb files in the past but they're uninstalled completly.

A user on the debian-user-german list claims to have the same problem with
the xlibmesa-gl package.

If you've a hint how to solve this let me know.
