Excellent; thanks for following up.

I have added a TODO item for a backport of the driver from my 4.4.0-RC3
"sanitized" CVS checkout.  This will not only fix this bug, it will
collect other fixes, add support for a couple more pre-ViRGE S3
chipsets, and may even improve the driver's XVideo performance.
